Shuttler Sindhu ousted from badminton Worlds
Top Indian shuttler P.V. Sindhu suffered a shock defeat in the women's singles quarter-final to be ousted from the World Championships here on Friday.
The 11th seeded Sindhu lost to South Korean eighth seed Sung Ji Hyun 17-21, 21-19, 16-21 in an hour and 22 minutes at the 9,000-seater Istora Senayan.
