Indian shuttler Kidambi Srikanth dropped a dramatic 10 places in the latest Badminton World Federation (BWF) men's singles rankings released Thursday to be positioned at No.23 currently.
The 21-year-old Srikanth, who achieved a career high ranking of No.13 two weeks ago, suffered a first round exit in Tokyo at the $250,000 Japan Open Super Series Wednesday.
There was good news for Parupalli Kashyap, who rose a place to No.20 in a list which is led by Malaysia's World No.1 Lee Chong Wei.
Both Saina Nehwal and P.V. Sindhu retained their No.8 and No.10 spots in the women's singles rankings. China's reigning Olympic champion Li Xuerui tops the list.
No Indian figures in the top-25 of the men's, women's and mixed doubles rankings.
