Six people were found dead after severe storms triggered flooding in Texas, a media report said on Sunday.
After being swept away by fast-moving flood waters in the city of Palestine, the bodies of a 64-year-old woman and her four grandchildren, aged 6 to 9, were discovered by city rescuers on Saturday.
The body of a 30-year-old man was found later, Xinhua news agency reported.
Palestine is home to about 18,000 residents. Authorities said that storms triggered the flooding on Friday night, which quickly reached the roofs of some homes in the city.
It was the worst flooding the city had seen in more than 30 years.
