Villarreal captain Bruno Soriano expressed optimism about his side's ability to eliminate Italian capital football club AS Roma from the Europa League round-of-32 on Thursday.
The midfielder on Monday explained that Villarreal should prepare for Thursday's game with confidence, with the aim of achieving victory and believing in their ability to defeat the Italian giants, reports Efe.
Bruno highlighted the squad's optimism ahead of the Roma game, despite the gloom after La Liga 1-1 draw against Malaga on Sunday.
The Spanish international pointed out that his side should stand firm, adding that Villarreal has lost important points in the Spanish league.
He added that Villarreal should be at their best to be able to defeat any rival.
