Spanish media praises La Roja's performance in the first hour against Italy

The Spanish media on Friday praised the country's magnificent first hour in the game against Italy in the 2018 World Cup football qualifier match, but pointed that it was eventually robbed of victory by the comeback of the Azzurri, ending the match in a 1-1 draw.

"Italy escaped us alive," said the daily AS, noting that La Roja played in a great way for an hour but did not get the result it deserves on Thursday.

Sport newspaper praised the performance of the Spanish squad and noted its great performance which did not end with victory.
