The Spanish stock market index, Ibex-35, rose an impressive 3.83 percent on Monday to close at 9,971.30 points, up from the 9,603.60 points of Friday.
At the close of Monday's session, Abengoa "B" shares led rises shooting up 10.91 percent, followed by Acciona, ArcelorMittal, Acerinox, Banco Sabadell and Repsol that spiked 9.57 percent, 8.15 percent, 7.89 percent, 7.87 percent and 6.88 percent respectively, Xinhua news agency reported.
Enagas shares also rose climbing 1.30 percent, followed by Iberdrola, Endesa, R.E.C., Bankia and Grifols that rose 1.47 percent, 1.75 percent, 2.15 percent, 2.43 percent and 2.56 percent respectively.
Meanwhile, Spain's risk premium stood at 124 points, falling by two points since Friday, and Spain's 10-year bond interest rate stood at 1.8 percent, slightly above the 1.7 percent of Friday.
