Spurs beat Heat to win NBA title

The San Antonio Spurs claimed their fifth NBA Championship after beating Miami Heat 104-87 to win the best-of-seven series in five games.

Kawhi Leonard had 22 points and 10 rebounds for the Spurs, who had won the title in 1999, 2003, 2005 and 2007, reports Xinhua.

San Antonio overcame an early 16-point deficit by outscoring Heat 37-13 from the start of the second quarter to midway in the third Sunday.

LeBron James had 31 points and 10 rebounds for Heat.
