Srikanth shocks Ponsana to win Thailand Open

Twenty-year-old K. Srikanth claimed the biggest victory of his career stunning Thailand's top seed Boonsak Ponsana in the final of the Thailand Open Grand Prix Gold badminton event here Sunday.

World No.61 Srikanth beat his seventh-ranked opponent 21-16, 21-12 at the Nimibutr Stadium here for his first Grand Prix title.
