Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) chief N. Srinivasan will preside over their Annual General Meeting (AGM) Sep 29 in Chennai.

"The AGM will be held in Chennai Sep 29," BCCI vice-president Rajeev Shukla told the media here Sunday after the emergency working committee meeting of the board.

Another BCCI official said Srinivasan would chair the meeting.

"There is no legal bar on Srinivasan against chairing the AGM," the official said on condition of anonymity adding that Srinivasan used his 'presidential powers' to choose Chennai as the venue of the meeting.

At the meeting here, Srinivasan presided when issues like signing the annual report and accounts and other technical issues came up while interim chief Jagmohan Dalmiya presided over the rest of the meeting.

"Dalmiya will also continue to look after the day-to-day affairs of the board till Sep 29," added Shukla.

The other board official described the mood in Sunday's meeting as "cordial with none indulging in slamming or criticising each other".

Meanwhile, the board's disciplinary committee will meet in New Delhi Sep 13 to discuss the Indian Premier League (IPL) match fixing report involving three Rajasthan Royals players. BCCI's anti-corruption unit head Ravi Sawani, who investigated the matter earlier, submitted his report to the disciplinary committee.

During the meeting, a proposed tour involving the West Indies playing two tests and five one-dayers in India during November was also discussed.

"The working committee discussed the matter and a final decision will be taken in the coming weeks," said an official.
