The outfits donned by Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone in forthcoming film "Chennai Express" will be auctioned, and proceedings from the sale will go for a charity.

The auction will take place around the movie's release Aug 9. The film is directed by Rohit Shetty, and it is said to be an action romantic comedy.

A source close to the team said, "People are really appreciating the different look that is donned by the actors in the film. With so much appreciation, the makers are planning to auction some of the costumes from the film and extend the proceedings for charity."

All work, no rest for SRK

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan has been defying health warnings and spending long hours at work.

Shah Rukh, who underwent a shoulder surgery in May, has been juggling with multiple tasks of late.

Post surgery, he was advised at least 10 hours of sleep to help his weak shoulder recuperate faster. But just last week, King Khan shot a tough song with his "Chennai Express" co-star Deepika Padukone. He was busy for two days with the song.

On the third day, he shot an ad too! Also, he busies himself with dubbing for "Chennai Express" till early hours in the morning, and reaches home in time enough just for about four hours of sleep before he wakes up at 8 a.m., said a source.

Then he sets out for his meetings.

Shah Rukh was also advised to avoid crowded public places, but for a star of his stature, that becomes a tad tough, especially when he is caught in the midst of promotions for "Chennai Express".

The movie, directed by Rohit Shetty, releases on Eid Aug 9.

'Satyagraha' locked and bolted!

Filmmaker Prakash Jha doesn't want to take any chances with his forthcoming film "Satyagraha", so he has moved all the post-production work for the movie into his own office.

If sources are to be believed, Jha has moved the dubbing and editing on his upcoming film "Satyagraha" into the closed confines of his office in Andheri here. This has been done to avoid any kind of information leaking out.

"We have our own editing and dubbing equipments. There is always a fear since the work on post-production goes on at several places. These days even a pen drive is dangerous and I am taking no chances," Jha said in a statement.

"Satyagraha", which has a stellar cast of Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay Devgn, Manoj Bajpayee, Kareena Kapoor, Arjun Rampal and Amrita Rao, is slated to release Aug 30.
