To relish and cherish the success of "Chennai Express" even more, superstar Shah Rukh Khan is theatre-hopping across Mumbai Thursday to see the live reaction of audiences.
Released Friday, the romantic comedy, directed by Rohit Shetty, has become the fastest film to make Rs.100 crore. It crossed the mark within the first weekend itself and is still going strong at the box office.
According to a source, Shah Rukh was expected to watch "Chennai Express" at IMAX Wadala at 3.00 p.m and Maratha Mandir at 9 p.m. He was also scheduled to visit INOX Nariman Point at 10.30 p.m.
The 47-year-old confirmed the plan and informed that he will skip one or two theatres due to security reasons.
"Have to avoid visiting PVR Phoenix Kurla and PVR Phoenix Lower Parel. Independence Day rush. (I) will see you at rest of the enlisted theatres," said SRK in his tweet Thursday.
Interestingly, Ekta Kapoor's "Once Upon Ay Time In Mumbai Dobaara" is also hitting the screens Thursday.
Made at a budget of Rs.70 crore, "Chennai Express" had collected Rs.137.10 crore all over India till Wednesday.
Also starring Deepika Padukone, the movie is a co-production by Shah Rukh's Red Chillies Entertainment and UTV Motion Pictures.
