A private bus, which was painted in such a way that it looked like a state-owned bus of the Haryana Roadways, was impounded in south Haryana on Thursday after it was detected by the Transport Minister.
Haryana Transport Minister Krishan Lal Panwar, who was on his way to Mewat from Gurugram on Thursday, caught a private bus painted in such a way as to look like a Haryana Roadways bus.
"I saw the bus, which looked similar to that of the state roadways," Panwar said.
The bus, which had a board mentioning Sohna-Palwal and had 'Haryana Shakti' written on it, was impounded.
"The buses have been impounded and challaned. The owners have been asked to change the paint. Only then will these be released," the minister said.
