London, April 24 (IANS) British designer Stella McCartney has been named the patron of Designer for Tomorrow (DFT), a contest held as a part of Berlin Fashion Week.
The competition first started in 2009.
"I'm looking forward to supporting the young fashion talents and I'm curious about all the applications and the potential that we can expect," femalefirst.co.uk quoted McCartney as saying.
Before her, designer Marc Jacobs played the role.
