Czech tennis great Radek Stepanek said that he will be taking home specialities like "tea and Indian rum" for his friends and family back home after the Davis Cup World Group Playoff against India concludes here on Sunday.
Asked by IANS if he has tried any local delicacies yet, the 36-year-old said,"No not so far, but me and my teammates will be taking home things like tea and Indian rum and stuff like that.
"I have heard a lot about the Indian rum so we will be taking some for our friends and family back home."
Stepanek and Adam Pavlasek beat India's Leander Paes and Rohan Bopanna 7-5, 6-2, 6-2 in two hours and nine minutes in the lone doubles rubber here on Saturday to give the visiting Czech Republic team a 2-1 lead in the five-match tie.
Sunday will see Yuki Bhambri and Somdev Devvarman play the two reverse singles matches at the Delhi Lawn Tennis Association (DLTA) Complex.
