Trinamool Congress vice president Mukul Roy on Tuesday termed the footage on the sting operation against his party that has sparked off a major political row as a "manufactured video".
"It is a manufactured video. There is a political motive behind all these," he told reporters here.
"I have no idea" of what is being aired or shown on social networking sites or TV channels, he said.
Asked who can give details on the video footage, the former union minister said: "It is the opposition parties who made up their stories".
Earlier in the day, in the Lok Sabha, Trinamool Congress member from Dum Dum, Saugata Roy said there was no truth in the allegations made in the sting operation.
"There is a political conspiracy against Trinamool by the three parties -- BJP, Congress and CPI-M -- as they all are going to lose upcoming assembly elections in the state," he alleged.
In response to members including from the BJP, Congress and Communist Part of India-Marxist (CPI-M) during zero hour, Parliamentary Affairs Minister M. Venkaiah Naidu said truth must prevail in the matter since it was related to the conduct of the members.
"The matter needs to be probed either by the government or by the Lok Sabha speaker to establish the truth. Truth must prevail in the case," he said.
Poll-bound West Bengal's ruling Trinamool Congress is faced with an embarrassing situation after several of its leaders were allegedly caught on camera accepting bribes.
