Italian striker Ciro Immobile, who was officially presented on Monday as a new footballer of Lazio, said he "never" had the opportunity to perform at his best during the last season with Spanish side Sevilla.
The 26-year-old said this past year was different as he never had the chance at Sevilla, so he decided to move to Torino on loan to maintain form, reports Efe.
Immobile promised that he will try to improve his performance this year. The Italian international expressed his happiness playing for Lazio, who will be trying to compete for a European place next season.
Immobile was at Sevilla in the first half of last season, but he only played eight games and scored only two goals.
