An IAF Sukhoi Su-30 aircraft crashed near Shirur here Tuesday afternoon, official sources said.
The pilot and co-pilot are reported to have ejected safely.
Details of the reasons behind the crash and other casualties or damages after it took off from Lohegaon base of the Indian Air Force are awaited, the sources said.
