In a startling revelation, Arvind Singh Chauhan, who was arrested in the Saradha scam, Tuesday claimed that Saradha chief and scam kingpin Sudipta Sen had held meetings with two Trinamool Congress MPs days before his escape from the city in April 2013.

"I drove Sudipta Sen to the Nizam Palace office of (name of the MP) on April 5. Two days later, (another Trinamool MP) visited Sen's office at Midland Park," Chauhan, a former employee of the company, told mediapersons after being released on bail.

One of the leaders named by Chauhan is a Lok Sabha member while the other is former union minister.

Chauhan was arrested along with Sen and close aide Debjani Mukherjee from Sonmarg in Jammu and Kashmir in April 2013.

Chauhan also claimed innocence and asserted the real culprits were roaming scot free.

"I did not hatch any conspiracy. All the conspirators are roaming free," said Chauhan who during the day deposed before the CBI which is probing the multi-crore scam.

Asserting that canards were maliciously spread against the ruling party, one of the MPs threatened to sue Chauhan for defamation.

Besides interrogating several people close to the Trinamool, the Central Bureau of investigation so far has arrested four people including Trinamool leader and former IPS officer Rajat Majumdar.
