It was a sunny and sultry Thursday in Delhi as the maximum temperature settled a notch above average at 35.1 degrees Celsius. The Met office has forecast light rain the day after.
The weather Thursday remained muggy with the maximum humidity recorded at 80 percent.
The minimum temperature was a notch below average at 25.6 degrees Celsius.
Since the arrival of monsoon, the city has recorded 762.6 mm rain.
"The skies will be cloudy tomorrow (Friday) and parts of the city will get very light rains," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.
The maximum and minimum temperatures will hover around 35 and 26 degrees Celsius, added the official.
