Delhiites Wednesday reeled under sultry weather as the humidity wavered between a high of 98 and and low of 61 percent. The Met Office has forecast a cloudy Thursday.
"The skies will remain generally cloudy Thursday with thundering conditions in some parts of the city," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The day's minimum temperature was recorded a notch above average at 27.6 degrees Celsius, while the maximum settled two notches above average at 35.5 degrees Celsius.
Thursday's maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 35 and 27 degrees Celsius.
Tuesday's maximum temperature settled at 33.5 degrees Celsius - average for this time of the season - while the minimum was 26.8 degrees Celsius, also average for this time of the season.
