Actor-turned politican and BJP candidate from Punjab's Gurdaspur Sunny Deol on Thursday held road shows in the national capital for his party's candidates.
Deol held his first road show in South Delhi for party candidate Ramesh Bidhuri and then two other road shows in West Delhi and North West Delhi for party candidates Pravesh Singh Verma and singer-turned-politician Hans Raj Hans.
The actor kicked off from the office of Bidhuri and covered Andheria Mod, Main market and Mehrauli before concluding it at Mehrauli bus stand.
Deol and Bidhuri were greeted with flowers from the party supporters. Hundreds of BJP workers braved the heat to participate in the road show.
Addressing the people during his road show, Deol appealed for support to Bidhuri and said that he was a grassroots leader and that he has made every effort to develop this area.
"Now the time has come to elect Bidhuri once again," he said.
During the entire road show, the supporters shouted slogans and took a pledge to make Narendra Modi the Prime MInister once again.
Deol then went along with Verma to West Delhi's Subhash Nagar Road, ending it at Hari Nagar Depot.
The actor's road show along with Hans Raj Hans began in North West constituency's Ramdev Chowk, ending at Bawana.
Earlier in the day, folk singer Sapna Choudhary and Bhojpuri actor and singer Pawan Singh also held a road show for North East BJP candidate Manoj Tiwari.
BJP MP from Mathura Hema Malini also held a public meeting for BJP's New Delhi candidate Meenakshi Lekhi.
