The national capital experienced a sunny, hot Thursday with the maximum temperature at 37.6 degrees Celsius, slightly below the season's average. Saturday is likely to be cloudy but as hot, the Met Office said.
"The sky will be cloudy tomorrow (Saturday) and the day will be hot," said the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 38 and 24 degrees Celsius.
Thursday morning was sunny and the minimum temperature was recorded at 24.2 degrees Celsius - a notch below the season's average.
The day's maximum humidity was recorded at 73 percent.
Thursday's maximum temperature was recorded at 39.4 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature was recorded at 25.2 degrees Celsius, both a notch above the season's average.
