It was a sunny Thursday morning in the national capital, with the minimum temperature recorded at 18.7 degrees Celsius, the season's average, while the maximum is expected to hover around 39 degrees, the weather office said.
"The sky will remain clear. It is expected to turn cloudy towards the later part of the day," an Indian Meteorological Department official said.
At 8.30 a.m., the humidity was recorded at 69 per cent.
On Wednesday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 36.8 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average, while the minimum was a notch below the normal at 17.6 degrees Celsius.
