It was a hot, sunny Thursday in the national capital as the maximum temperature settled a notch above the season's average at 34.5 degrees Celsius. The weather is likely to remain similar on Friday, the Met Office said.
"The sky will remain partly cloudy tomorrow (Friday)," said an official of the India Meteorological Department. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 35 and 27 degrees.
Thursday morning was sunny and the minimum temperature settled a notch above average at 27.7 degrees Celsius. The day's maximum humidity was recorded at 76 percent.
Wednesday's maximum temperature was recorded at 35.5 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average, while the minimum temperature settled at 27.7 degrees Celsius, one notch above the season's average.
