It was a sunny Thursday in Delhi. The Met office has forecast a cloudy Independence Day Friday.
"Friday will be cloudy with rain or thundershowers in some parts of the city," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.
The maximum temperature Thursday settled two notches above the season's average at 35.7 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature was recorded a notch above the average at 27.4 degrees Celsius.
Humidity wavered between a high and low of 73 percent and 49 percent, respectively.
The maximum and minimum temperatures Friday are likely to hover around 35 degrees Celsius and 27 degrees Celsius.
Wednesday's maximum temperature settled three notches above the season's average at 36.2 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature settled at 27 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average.
