Sunny Tuesday in Delhi, rain likely

It was a pleasant sunny morning in the national capital Tuesday. The minimum temperature settled a notch above average at 23.8 degrees Celsius. The Met office has forecast light rains later in the day.

"The sky is likely to be partly cloudy and rain is expected later Tuesday," said an official of India Meteorological Department.

While the minimum temperature was recorded 23.8 degrees Celsius -- one notch above average, maximum temperature can shore up to 33 degrees Celsius.

Humidity at 8.30 am stood at 84 percent.

Monday's maximum temperature was recorded 31.4 degrees -- three notches below average while minimum temperature settled 22.7 degrees Celsius which was average for this time of the season.
