It was a pleasant morning here Tuesday with the minimum temperature settling at 10.2 degrees Celsius, slightly above the season's average. The Met Office has forecast a sunny day.
The visibility in the morning was 400 metres. As a result, eight trains coming to the city were running late while the departure time of two was rescheduled, the Northern Railway said in a statement.
"The sky will be sunny through the day... light fog is likely in the evening," an official of the India Meteorological Department.
The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 16 degrees Celsius.
The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 95 percent.
The national capital witnessed light showers Monday and the maximum temperature was recorded five notches below the season's average at 16.4 degrees Celsius while the minimum was 11.6 degrees Celsius -- three notches above the season's average.
