Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj Friday left Dhaka after her three-day official visit to Bangladesh.
She left for New Delhi on a special Air India flight around 1.30 p.m. from Dhaka's Shahjalal International Airport after being seen off by Bangladesh Foreign Secretary Md. Shahidul Haque, bdnews24.com reported.
She was accompanied by Indian Foreign Secretary Sujatha Singh and external affairs ministry spokesperson Syed Akberuddin.
During her visit, Swaraj discussed bilateral issues with Bangladeshi Foreign Minister Abul Hassan Mahmood Ali and hoped for early settlement of the Teesta water-sharing and the land boundary agreements.
Swaraj also held talks with President Md. Abdul Hamid, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Leader of Opposition Raushon Ershad and Bangladesh Nationalist Party chief Khaleda Zia.
It was her first visit to any country after taking over as the external affairs minister last month.
