Suyash failes to reach final in 50m swimming at Rio

India's Suyash Narayan Yadav failed to reach the final of the S7 category of the men's 50 metres swimming competition in the Rio Paralympic Games here on Friday.

Suyash finished fifth in the Heat 1 an overall ninth as the top eight competitors entered the final.

Suyash completed the 50 metres in 31.58 seconds.

Australian Matthew Levy (28.55 seconds), Colombia's Carlos Serrano Zarate (28.87) and Chinese Jingang Wang qualified to the final as top three contestants respectively.
