Real Betis and Swansea City reached an agreement on Wednesday to loan defender Jordi Amat to the Spanish team for one season.
According to sources in the operation, the Spaniard, 25, is set to arrive in the next few hours in Seville to formalise his contract, reports Efe.
Amat, under contract with Swansea until June 2019, has spent the last four seasons with the Welsh team, where he has played 72 official matches, 17 of them in the last edition of the Premier League.
Formed in the youth teams of Espanyol, Amat debuted with the club's first team in the 2009-10 season and then left to Rayo Vallecano in 2012 before, a year later, making the leap to the English Premier League.
