Leading lights of Tamil Nadu's movie world voted on Monday to elect a new state assembly.
Tamil superstar Rajinikanth cast his vote at Stella Maris College near his residence here. Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa, a former movie star, also voted at the same centre.
Actors Kamal Hassan, Ajith and his wife Shalini, Sundar. C and Kushboo also exercised their franchise. And so did actors Vijay, Vishal, Sivakarthikeyan and Arya.
