The yet-to-be-titled Tamil remake of critically acclaimed Kannada blockbuster "Lucia" was launched here Monday, while the shooting of the remake, which features Siddharth in the lead, started Tuesday.
"We officially launched the film Monday. The regular shooting starts from today (Tuesday) and we plan to complete the film in one long schedule," C.V Kumar, who will produce the film under his home banner Thirukumaran Entertainment, told IANS.
"Lucia" was an independent film that was crowd-funded. It turned out to be one of biggest low-budget hits in southern cinema last year.
Debutant Prasad Ramar will helm the remake, which also features Deepa Pranidhi and Naren in important roles.
