Critically acclaimed actress Tannishtha Chatterjee says she is thrilled with an award that she received in London for her contribution to Asian cinema.
The "Brick Lane" actress was at the London Asian Film Festival, presented by Tongues on Fire, on Sunday when she received the award.
Talking about it, she said in a statement: "I am hugely thrilled and honoured by this award, and overwhelmed by all the best wishes that have come in from the industry."
After her win, she was applauded by "Airlift" director Raja Menon, Tabu, Dia Mirza, Satish Kaushik and Onir among others.
