Automobile major Tata Motors on Friday launched a new small commercial vehicle (SCV) Tata Ace Mega in Nepal.
"Tata Motors has been a pioneer in creating and growing the SCV market first in India and then in Nepal, with a varied portfolio in this segment," said Rudrarup Maitra, head, international business, commercial vehicle business unit, Tata Motors.
"Tata Ace Mega has been developed to maximize revenues for last mile transport operators, ensuring more trips and load carrying capability with a low turnaround time, meeting requirements of both intra-city and intercity transportation."
The automobile major elaborated that the new SCV has a payload of one tonne and comes with a two-year warranty.
The company added that the new vehicle is powered by a new-generation "DiCOR" diesel engine.
