Tata Power on Monday said that its Chief Executive and Managing Director Anil Sardana has resigned from the company effective from April 30, 2018, owing to personal reasons.
"Anil Sardana has submitted his resignation as CEO and Managing Director of the company and as a director of the company, for personal reasons," a Tata Power statement said here.
Sardana, who has over three decades of experience in the power and infrastructure sector, was Managing Director of Tata Teleservices for over three years from 2007 to 2011, and is also on the board of other companies.
