Taxi driver kills wife, daughter in Delhi

A 35-year-old taxi driver has been arrested for killing his wife and 10-year-old daughter, police said Sunday.

The incident came to light around 9 a.m. Sunday when a relative found the bodies of the mother and daughter in their house in Sagarpur area of west Delhi and informed police.

"Jaswinder hit his wife Sarita, 35, and daughter Shalini with an iron rod Saturday night, killing them," said Deputy Commissioner of Police Suman Goyal.
