A teenaged boy was apprehended for murdering a 54-year-old security guard who stopped him and his friends from drinking liquor in a park here, police said Wednesday.
The 17-year-old juvenile was apprehended Tuesday from Subhash Place area in north Delhi for killing Vidya Ram, police said.
"Vidya Ram was stabbed to death by the accused and his three friends around 1 a.m. Friday," said a police officer.
The accused told police that the guard abused them and beat them with baton, prompting them to attack them with a knife, police said.
