A Singapore court on Tuesday charged a 16-year-old boy over offensive remarks on late former prime minister Lee Kuan Yew and uploading online materials against Christianity.
Amos Yee Pang Sang faces three charges which were committed last Friday and Saturday, the Straits Times reported.
He was arrested on Sunday.
Amos allegedly uploaded content online which contained remarks against Christianity with the deliberate intention of hurting the religious feelings of Christians.
He is also said to have transmitted electronically an image showing obscene figures.
The third charge is he made an insulting video clip online, containing remarks about the late prime minister, which was intended to be heard and seen by hundreds.
Among the remarks he made was "good riddance" and his hope that Lee would not rest in peace.
A pre-trial conference has been fixed for April 17.
