Two men were arrested Wednesday for the gang rape of a 17-year-old girl in a forested hilly area in Odisha's Cuttack district, police said.
The girl was kidnapped Sep 6 by the two men from her home at Bindhanima village, 100 km from state capital Bhubaneswar.
The men kept her in an abandoned hut, where four others joined them and all six of them raped her for three days, Tigiria police station officer-in-charge Tapan Kumar Rout told IANS.
Police swung into action after the victim escaped with the help of some villagers and lodged a complaint Tuesday.
"We have arrested two of the attackers. Efforts are on to nab the four others," Rout said.
