The Telangana government on Wednesday agreed to support Delhi government in developing two incubators like Hyderabad's T-Hub.

Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia visited T-Hub and met Telangana's Information Technology Minister K.T. Rama Rao.

Sisodia later tweeted that Rama Rao has agreed to share Telangana's experience and learning with Delhi.

"The Delhi government's incubation policy formed in 2016 has helped many startups to successfully grow in our colleges and universities. Now is the time to incubate them through steps like T-Hub," Sisodia tweeted.

The team led by Sisodia was impressed with T-Hub, billed as the country's largest technology incubator.

An initiative of Telangana government, T-Hub has completed two years.

Earlier, the delegation met Minister for Industries, IT and Urban Development K.T. Rama Rao.

Sisodia, accompanied by cabinet colleague Satyendar Jain and officials, said the Delhi government was keen to create the right eco-system for startups.

Rama Rao explained the various initiatives undertaken by the Telangana government to support the innovation eco-system and skilling of youngsters.

He talked of the experiences of Telangana in building India's largest startup incubator T-Hub and the state's skilling initiative TASK.

Rama Rao, son of Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, said mutual cooperation among states would benefit the nation as a whole.

He said Hyderabad had 200 startups when Telangana was formed and now the number had gone up to 1,800.

The Minister informed Sisodia that Telangana had already agreed to help Goa and Odisha for development of IT sector and knowledge sharing.

Rama Rao said he had directed the officials to study some of the innovative schemes being implemented in Delhi.
