A Telugu film artiste proved a villain in real life too as Hyderabad police arrested him here Monday for attempt to murder.
Abdul Rahman alias Baba, who acted as villain in films like "Vikramarkudu" was arrested for an attack on Mohammed Fayaz on March 16.
Humayun Nagar police station had registered a case against the 34-year-old artiste, who had stabbed Fayaz to take revenge. According to police, Fayaz, a hotel worker, and his family members had beaten up Abdul Rahman when the latter tried to molest his sister-in-law Salma Nawaz.
The cine artiste was staying as tenant in a house belonging to Fayaz in Banjara Hills. A case was booked against Abdul Rahman at Banjara Hills police station on a complaint by Salma.
