Top seed Shaikh Abdulla (Tamil Nadu) had an easy run into the second round of the boys singles as he ousted Dalwinder Singh 6-1, 6-1, in the AITA Adidas-MCC Junior National tennis championship here Monday.
Also advancing to the second round was No.2 seed Suraj R Prabodh from Karnataka who eased past Paramveer Singh Bajwa 6-1, 6-0, while other fancied players also made progress without a hitch.
