Tennis legend Boris Becker will launch a footwear collection named after him in the Indian capital city on December 16.
"It is a limited edition shoe launch for the first time in India," a press release from sports apparel company Puma said.
On December 17, Becker and his son Noah will head to Kolkata to attend a pre-event press conference for a 25K Marathon, which will be flagged off the next day.
"I am looking forward to my visit to India to launch my special edition footwear and flagging of TSK25 run which is East India's premier event," Becker added.
"Running is a great sport, it s an integral part of any sportsman s training regime and a most convenient fitness regime to adopt and I am excited to be associated with an event that promotes this sport."
