Texmaco Rail and Engineering Ltd. Thursday posted a 69.73 percent dip in its net profit at Rs. 8.85 crore during the fourth quarter last fiscal compared to Rs.29.24 crore during same period previous fiscal.
The Kolkata-based company's income from operation during the period under review declined to Rs.200.73 crore from Rs.224.19 crore during the like period previous fiscal.
Gross turnover for the last financial year was higher by Rs.98 crore at Rs.1,036 crore as compared to Rs.938 crore in the previous year, according to a company statement here.
Net profit of the wagon maker during fiscal 2012-13 was marginally higher at Rs.94.27 crore against Rs.93.06 crore registered during fiscal 2011-12.
During the year, the firm executed export orders worth Rs.94.10 crore.
