'The Lost City of Z' to release in India in May

Hollywood actor Brad Pitt's production "The Lost City of Z" will release in India on May 12.

Produced by Pitt's production house Plan B Entertainment Inc, more commonly known as Plan B, "The Lost City of Z" is based on author David Grann's non-fiction bestseller by the same name.

The film is being brought to the country by PVR Pictures, read a statement.

Starring Sienna Miller, Robert Pattinson and Charlie Hunnam, it narrates the true story of British explorer Percy Fawcett's adventures in the Amazon. It is directed by James Gray.

Apart from the release, the film was in the news due to Miller and Pitt's dating rumours.
