Actor Matt Damon's movie "The Martian" is set to release in China on November 25.
The distributor of the film, Fox, confirmed the release date.
Ridley Scott's space epic has been a major success domestically raking in more than $140 million with another $180 million in international markets, led by $26 million in Britain and $22 million in South Korea, reports variety.com.
In a separate announcement on Thursday, Fox and Imax announced that "The Martian" would receive a limited time engagement in Imax 3D theatres in the US, China and across other select international markets.
