'The Nut Job' sequel to come out in 2016

A sequel to animated movie "The Nut Job" is in talks and is expected to hit theatres in 2016.

The sequel is scheduled to release in January, 2016, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

"The Nut Job", about a mischievous squirrel who plots to rob the town's biggest nut shop, featured the voices of Will Arnett, Brendan Fraser, Liam Neeson and Katherine Heigl.
