There are no real rules to love: Pixie Lott

Singer-songwriter Pixie Lott does not think there are "rules" to a successful relationship.

The 25-year-old singer has been dating model Oliver Cheshire since she was 19, but says she harbours no regrets about getting into such a serious relationship at such a young age, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

Lott said: "I think every relationship is different and there are no real rules. Some of my friends have dated loads of people and others are still with the first person they started going out with, a bit like me. If it feels right, you just go with it."

Cheshire is a model and the nature of their jobs means the duo rarely get to spend time together. But Lott said it's a situation they have learned to deal with over the years.

She told The Sun: "Either I'm away or he's away, and those times are hard. But we're used to it because it's been like that since the beginning. We have complete trust, and I think if we didn't have that, it would be much more difficult than it is. I'd like to think we were heading that way (towards marriage), definitely."
