Brazilian defender Thiago Silva, Argentine winger Angel di Maria and Uruguayan striker Edinson Cavani, all of them Paris Saint-Germain footballers, are the highest-paid in Ligue 1, according to estimates in the French media.
Thiago, 32, earns 1.1 million euros ($1.1 million) monthly, Di Maria, 28, receives 1.05 million euros ($1.09 million) and Cavani, 29, makes 850,000 euros ($888,377)a month, according to the calculations of L'Equipe.
Thiago succeeds Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who earned 1.35 million euros ($1.41 million) a month with PSG before leaving this summer to play for Manchester United, reports Efe.
There are only three players in the top ten in France who do not play for the Parisian side.
