Three persons were arrested for allegedly raping a juvenile girl in West Bengal's West Midnapore district, police said on Thursday.
"Three youth allegedly asked a young girl out and later raped her at a nearby empty field in West Midnapore district's Belda on Wednesday night," an officer from Belda Police Station said.
According to police, one of the accused youth who knew the girl from before, took her out on Wednesday afternoon. The parents of the girl grew anxious as she did not return till late night and later found her in a village field after intensive search.
"All the three accused have been arrested on Thursday morning based on the complaint lodged by the victim. They would be presented in court," the officer said.
